Know More About S.E.I

What is Student Entertainment Innovation Program?

SEI is a long term project focused on developing the entertainment recognition attached to the Ghanaian public schools. It is a cooperative idea designed to serve student leadership in Ghanaian senior high schools.
As a nonprofit organization operating in the entertainment industry since 2019, our public research and analysis inspired our team to take a voluntary approach into educational innovation.

The burgeoning Music and Show Business sector in today's global economy presents a remarkable growth trajectory. Our initiative is meticulously crafted to nurture the creative aptitude of students keen on exploring opportunities within the music and arts industry.

Hotspot Media is set to collaborate with public schools to orchestrate engaging musical competitions. The initiative will commence with auditions held on school campuses. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to showcase their talents during designated entertainment hours, under thorough supervision.

The evaluation process will involve impartial judging, and both judges and students will contribute to a percentage-based voting system, ensuring a comprehensive and equitable assessment of each performance. Prizes for the participants encompass laptops, musical instruments, equipment, books, certificates, cash rewards, and short-term recording deals, subject to stipulated terms and conditions.

The progressive stages of the competition are meticulously structured to foster a profound understanding of the expectations within the professional realm, instilling valuable insights for students aspiring to enter the dynamic music and arts industry.

S.E.I Background

Prior to the initiation of our current educational initiative, the Student Entertainment Innovation (SEI) project, our pro bono services were extended to the public in Labadi, Accra, where our inaugural recording studio was established.
Numerous artists with limited resources were afforded the chance to acquire music production skills and record their compositions with Hotspot Media. This philanthropic initiative commenced in 2019 and continued until the closure of our studio in 2022. Presently, our no-cost services persist for socioeconomically disadvantaged individuals in the broader community, subject to specified terms and conditions.

Our Goal

Our goal is to enhance the creative mental abilities of students in a practical musical experience that prepares students for the future in economic development.
